Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Teddy App Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the GlowKit app (the “App”) and related services. By downloading or using GlowKit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to use GlowKit. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The service & Pro features

GlowKit helps you take or choose a selfie, check scan quality, and understand visible cosmetic skin signals over time. Free users can complete one guided scan with scan-quality feedback and a locked result preview. GlowKit Pro unlocks the full result reveal, including a GlowScore, five visible signals (clarity, hydration, texture, even tone, and radiance), product category guidance, an explainable AM/PM/weekly routine, progress history, and before/after compare and unlimited scans. A trial started before the no-trial policy took effect keeps the access terms Apple showed when it began until it expires or converts.

Full analysis may be performed using cloud AI. Your selected photo is transmitted only for the processing needed to generate the requested cosmetic result. New scan photos are stored durably only on your device; GlowKit creates no new D1 or R2 scan-photo objects. Derived results and account metadata can sync privately through Cloudflare D1 as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Non-medical disclaimer

GlowKit is intended for general wellness, grooming, and cosmetic purposes only. Scores, signals, routines, and other outputs are informational estimates based on visible appearance and may not be accurate for every person or lighting condition. GlowKit does not provide medical, dermatological, or professional advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you saw in the App.

4. Your responsibilities

• Use GlowKit only for yourself, or for someone who has consented to being scanned.
• Do not upload images of other people without their permission.
• Keep your device and App Store account secure.
• Provide accurate information when contacting support.

You retain ownership of the selfies you submit and grant us only the limited rights needed to run scan-quality checks and transmit and process an image to generate your cosmetic result. We do not use submitted images for advertising or to train AI models.

GlowKit may automatically create an anonymous authenticated identity for cloud features; you do not need a named account, and Apple linking is optional. The active version 4.0 account-deletion service can delete that identity, its app-owned Cloudflare data, and the listed local feature data. The control also removes this device's local app analytics identifier and clears the current RevenueCat PostHog join attribute. It does not delete or rewrite historical analytics or subscription events; those follow the retention practices in our Privacy Policy and may remain linked. The separate device-local Keychain security identifier is not account-linked and is not rotated by account deletion. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription or erase Apple's purchase record, and eligible purchases may remain restorable.

5. Subscriptions & billing

GlowKit offers one guided scan with a locked result preview and an optional GlowKit Pro upgrade. Available subscription options and prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region, currency, taxes, and promotion.

We may also offer promotional plans or non-subscription purchases if they are shown in the App. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region, currency, taxes, and promotion. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple App Store account. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlement status and restore access. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

6. Subscription charges

GlowKit does not currently offer a subscription free trial. Weekly and annual plans are charged when Apple confirms the purchase, at the price shown in the App Store purchase sheet. A trial started before this policy changed keeps the access and billing terms Apple showed when that trial began until it expires or converts.

7. Restore & cancellation

You can restore previous purchases on any device signed in to the same Apple ID using the “Restore purchases” option in the App. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

8. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled under Apple's policies. We are generally unable to issue refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Apple Support, and feel free to email us at turhan@teddyapplabs.com so we can help where we can.

9. Intellectual property

GlowKit, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Teddy App Labs and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own purposes in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of photos you provide; you grant us only the limited rights needed to run scan-quality checks, transmit and analyze them solely for the requested cosmetic result, and deliver that result as described in the Privacy Policy. New scan photos are stored durably only on your device; GlowKit creates no new D1 or R2 scan-photo objects.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its security.
• Overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its infrastructure.
• Use GlowKit outputs to make medical, diagnostic, or treatment decisions.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its outputs without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teddy App Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teddy App Labs from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or a third party's rights.

14. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features. You may stop using the App at any time; we may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

15. Apple-required terms

These Terms are between you and Teddy App Labs, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for product liability claims, third-party intellectual-property claims, or consumer-protection claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on a U.S. restricted-parties list.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Teddy App Labs' principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
